Tickets control how many people can register for your event and what kind
of registration they get. Each ticket defines:

• How many spots are available
• Whether registration is free or paid
• How the person can attend — virtual, in person, or both

Every event needs at least one ticket type before it can take
registrations.

Free or paid

Free tickets are for events with no cost, where you only want to register
who is coming: academic conferences, webinars, community events, company
events. People register without paying.

Paid tickets require payment to complete registration, processed through a
payment gateway connected in Peewah: conferences, courses, workshops,
limited-access events.

📌 Creating a paid ticket is what makes the Sales menu appear. If you
cannot find payment settings on your event, this is why — the whole Sales
section stays hidden until at least one ticket has a price.

How they attend

If your event is hybrid, each ticket also sets how that person can attend:

💡 This is how you price the two audiences differently — a lower virtual
rate and a higher in-person one — without running two separate events, which
would split your registrant list and your reporting.

Creating tickets while creating the event

The event creation wizard has a Tickets step. Pick the type, fill in the
details, save. The ticket appears in your event's ticket list.

Creating or editing them later

Go to Registration → Ticket type. From there you can add new tickets, edit
existing ones, and change how many spots are available.

⚠️ Lowering the number of spots below what is already sold does not
un-register anyone. Check what you have sold before reducing a cap.
