How to add and edit registration form fields

The registration form is what every person completes to sign up. This is where
you decide what you ask them.

Open it at Registration → Registration Form.

Shared form, or one per ticket type

First you pick which form you are editing: the shared form, which
applies to every ticket type, or the form for one specific ticket type.

💡 Use it like this: what you ask everyone — name, email, institution —
goes in the shared form. What only applies to some people — license number
for clinicians, company name for exhibitors — goes in that ticket's form.

This is how you avoid asking people irrelevant questions, which is the
most common reason someone abandons registration halfway.

Adding, editing and removing fields

New field adds a question. Existing fields can be edited or removed.

⚠️ Think before removing a field that already has answers. That data is
what you will later export, use at check-in, or print on the certificate.

Email and mobile number are built into registration: they are how
Peewah sends the confirmation, the reminders and the certificate.

How many tickets one person can request

There is a maximum tickets per registration setting, capped at 15.

💡 Raise it if your audience registers in groups — a department head
signing up their team, someone bringing a guest. Leave it at 1 if you need
each person's details separately, because several tickets on one
registration do not always give you the individual breakdown.

Billing form

If your event has paid tickets you can also collect billing details from
the buyer.

💡 Turn it on if you sell to institutions. A hospital or university
usually needs the invoice issued to the entity with its Tax ID / EIN —
asking at registration saves chasing it later.

Before you publish

Fill in your own form once, start to finish. It is the only way to see what
a registrant sees: the order of the questions, which are required, and how many
there are.

A long form costs you registrations. If you are not going to use an answer
for anything, remove the question.
