# Recommended image sizes

Using the right dimensions keeps your event looking intentional instead of
stretched or cropped.

# Event website

These appear on the **public event page**, where people read the details and
register.

These appear on the page listing **all events published by an organizer**.

# Two things worth knowing

**The event banner is very wide and very short.** At 1280 × 290 it is close to
a 4.4:1 strip — a square poster dropped in there will be cropped top and
bottom, usually through the title. **Design for the strip**, or keep the text
in the middle third.

**Sponsor logos need a transparent background.** At 135 × 69 a logo on a white
box shows as a white box on your page. Use PNG with transparency.
