# How to add teammates to your event

You can give other people access to help you run an event. They get into the
event dashboard from their own account and work alongside you.

# Adding someone

**1.** Open the event and go to **Team**. You will see everyone who currently
has access.

**2.** Click **New member**.

**3.** Enter **the email address of the person you want to add**, and save.

# 🔴 They need a Peewah account first

**The email you enter has to belong to an existing Peewah account.** Adding an
address that has never signed up does not send an invitation and does not
create anything.

So the order is: **they create their account at
[app.peewah.co](https://app.peewah.co) and confirm their email, then you add
them.** Doing it the other way round looks like it worked and silently does not.

> 💡 **Use the address they actually signed up with.** A work address and a
> personal one are two different accounts, and adding the wrong one gives
> access to nobody.
