# How to add a custom meeting link

If your event runs on an outside platform, you can put its **access link**
inside Peewah so attendees join from the event page.

It works with anything that produces a join link: **Zoom**, **Google Meet**,
**Microsoft Teams**, **Webex**, **Jitsi**.

---

# 1. Create the meeting and copy its link

Set up the meeting on your platform and copy the join URL:

```
https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij
https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/…
https://zoom.us/j/123456789
```

---

# 2. Add it to your event

**1.** Go to **General → Stages**.

**2.** Open the stage and click the **Streaming** icon.

**3.** Choose **Custom** and then **Add URL**.

**4.** Paste the link and save.

---

# 3. What attendees see

They open your event page. At start time an **Enter the event** button
appears and takes them to your meeting.

> 📌 **Clicks on that button are what Peewah counts as attendance.** If people
> join your meeting some other way — a link you emailed, a calendar invite —
> **they will not appear as attendees**, which also means they will not
> qualify for a certificate.
>
> **So share the event page, not the meeting link.**

---

# Before the day

**Check the meeting's own access settings.** A waiting room, a passcode, or
"signed-in users only" will stop people at the door no matter how the link is
shared — and from your side everything looks correct.
